The 30th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30), taking place from 10–21 November 2025 in Belém, Brazil, marks a pivotal moment for translating global climate commitments into action.

As the world gathers for what has been called the “Implementation COP,” governments, multilateral institutions, scientists, private sector leaders, civil society organizations (CSOs), and activists from more than 190 countries will come together to translate commitments into tangible progress.

For Women Deliver, COP30 represents a critical opportunity to ensure that gender equality, and the health and rights of girls, women, and gender-diverse people are recognized as central to effective climate action.

Following COP29, where Parties agreed to extend the Enhanced Lima Work Programme on Gender for another decade (2025–2035), the new Gender Action Plan (GAP) is expected to be adopted at COP30.
