WD2026 Global Coordination Group
Shaping a Feminist Future — Together
We are building the Women Deliver 2026 Conference (WD2026) through shared leadership, targeted themes, measurable outcomes, and strong partnerships. At the center of that effort is the Global Coordination Group (CG) — a group of partners from around the world helping guide what the Conference looks like, whom it serves, and the impact it aims to have.
This group is helping shape the goals, content, and messages of WD2026 — making sure WD2026 serves as a milestone that helps move the gender equality agenda forward, especially as we look beyond 2030.
What the Coordination Group Does
The CG helps co-create every stage of the Conference. That includes:
- Co-developing the WD2026 theme, goals, and objectives
- Contributing to program development that is responsive, inclusive, and grounded in real-world needs
- Helping to shape strategic narratives that unify and energize the gender equality ecosystem
- Designing and supporting advocacy strategies to leverage WD2026 as a space for collective action
- Mobilizing wider networks — including advocates, activists, and human rights defenders — to expand participation and ensure diversity across all aspects of the Conference
- Ensuring WD2026 is inclusive, diverse, safe, accessible, and co-created with the communities it aims to serve
Together, these efforts ensure that WD2026 is meaningful, community-led, and focused on action.
Oceanic Pacific and First Nations Leadership
As the first Women Deliver Conference hosted in the Oceanic Pacific, WD2026 is rooted in regional and First Nations leadership. The Conference will take place in Narrm (Melbourne), Australia, and is guided by:
- The Regional Steering Committee (RSC), which is leading regional engagement, strategy, and cultural integrity
- The First Nations Governance Group, led by First Nations peoples of Narrm, ensuring the Conference reflects and respects First Nations knowledge and leadership
The RSC Co-Chairs also serve on the CG, helping connect regional and global efforts.

Who’s Involved?
The CG brings together representatives from across civil society, governments, multilateral agencies, youth-led groups, philanthropy, and the private sector — reflecting the diversity and power of the global gender equality movement.
