As the eldest daughter of three generations of eldest daughters, Giovanna is a women’s and girls’ rights advocate working at the intersection of girl-led leadership, accountability, and feminist policy change.
As a founding member of the Global Fund for Women’s Adolescent Girls Advisory Council, she partners with girls advancing gender justice through feminist philanthropy, founding Girls Give Forward, a scholarship and accountability community where members invest a percentage of their income to support a girl they care about. A Women Deliver Young Leader, Giovanna serves on the Women Deliver Conference Adolescent Girls Working Group and is a co-author of the Girls Manifesto, aiming to show how youth participation can move from symbolic inclusion to decision-making authority within global governance. Born in Brazil and educated across seven countries, Giovanna is especially interested in how culture, storytelling, etiquette, and the arts shape whose voices are treated as legitimate in global spaces.
