Gretchen Gasteier

Gretchen Gasteier (she/her) served as Co-Head for the Women Deliver 2023 Conference, where she oversees the program development for Women Deliver’s first hybrid Conference. A lifelong feminist and passionate advocate for human rights and social justice, Gretchen is an experienced project manager, strategist, and partnership broker, working at the intersection of gender and public health.

Gretchen joined Women Deliver in July 2018 as a 2018/19 Global Health Corps Fellow, managing the development of 115 concurrent sessions for Women Deliver 2019, while participating in a rigorous leadership development program. Prior to Women Deliver, she worked in corporate and individual philanthropy for her alma mater, The George Washington University, raising funds for the Milken Institute School of Public Health, the LGBTQIA Resource Center, and student scholarships. Gretchen has previously worked for the Human Rights Campaign, EMILY’s List, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the Brooklyn TB Chest Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.

Gretchen holds a Master’s of Public Health with a concentration in Global Health, a graduate certificate in LGBT Health Policy, and a BA in Women’s Studies all from The George Washington University.
