Gretchen Gasteier – Women Deliver

Gretchen Gasteier

Director, Convenings

Gretchen Gasteier (she/her) is Director for Convenings at Women Deliver. A lifelong feminist and passionate advocate for human rights and social justice, Gretchen is an experienced project manager, strategist, and partnership broker, working at the intersection of gender and public health.

She previously served as Co-Head for the Women Deliver 2023 Conference and was on the program team for the Women Deliver 2019 Conference. In 2018 Gretchen was selected as a Global Health Corps Fellow, participating in a year-long, rigorous leadership development program.

Prior to Women Deliver, she worked in corporate and individual philanthropy for her alma mater, The George Washington University, raising funds for the Milken Institute School of Public Health, the LGBTQIA Resource Center, and student scholarships. Gretchen has previously worked for the Human Rights Campaign, EMILY’s List, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the Brooklyn TB Chest Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.

Gretchen holds a Master’s of Public Health with a concentration in Global Health, a graduate certificate in LGBT Health Policy, and a BA in Women’s Studies all from The George Washington University.
