Swarnima Bhattacharya is passionate about advocating for women’s health, especially on chronic invisible illnesses, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and mental health.
Swarnima was born and raised in India. She studied English Literature at Delhi University. As the Founder at Women’s Health Line, she is responsible for organizational growth, team building, strategy, and health journalism. Through her work, she conducted an innovative body image campaign with a forthcoming research report. Additionally, she also is a Gender & Mental Health Consultant at InShorts, a media-tech startup. To Swarnima, “meaningful youth engagement” means making ambassadors and decision-makers out of young people.
In her free time, Swarnima enjoys writing on health and gender, reading historical non-fiction, non-touristy travel, cooking, and watching television shows and documentaries with strong female characters.
