What ignited your pursuit for gender equality?
The more I began to understand how the structure worked against me and my sisters because we're womxn, the more I wanted to disrupt it.
Please share your biggest wins as an advocate for gender equality.
At the AIDS Conference in 2018, two classmates and I put together a "Who's afraid of my vagina?” vulva selfie box. By creating a giant brown vulva, we encouraged more than 1,000 participants that visited us to think about reproductive health and rights.
Outside of your gender equality advocacy work, what do you enjoy doing?
Dancing, reading, karaoke, and hanging out with friends.
