In an effort to promote women entrepreneurs (especially market women, women in agriculture, and small traders), Prince D. Gaye (Class of 2018) and his team launched an initiative in 2017 to create an online platform where these women entrepreneurs can showcase their businesses to attract more customers and partners. The initiative would allow access to this platform for young women who cannot afford internet service, so they can promote their work, do research, and academic assignments. The team has officially launched the platform and is engaging the community through storytelling by rural women in agriculture and small businesses, which will be featured on the upcoming website.
