Khadijah Pierre (Class of 2018) participated in a Legal and Literacy and Advocacy Training workshop conducted by the Caribbean Vulnerable Communities Coalition that sought to help advocates understand the law as it applies to human rights and also help advocates understand their rights when interacting with law enforcement. This was a continuation of the finalization of the national strategic plan for advocacy to reach young people living with HIV, among other vulnerable groups, as well as to advocate for comprehensive sexuality education within schools and among out-of-school youth.
