Laila Alodaat is a human rights lawyer and feminist leader with over 20 years of experience in litigation, advocacy, and organisational leadership. She is the Executive Director of Prospera – the International Network of Women’s and Feminist Funds, where she leads a network of 50 Funds working to strengthen feminist movements through collective action, resource mobilisation, and systems change.
Laila previously served as Deputy Secretary General of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), and was involved in International litigation. Her expertise spans peace-building, governance, and feminist resourcing, with a strong focus on building sustainable and equitable ecosystems for civil society. She also serves on the boards of several international human rights organisations, foundations and trust.
