The Women Deliver 2019 Conference is just around the corner!

We hope that you and your organization will join us in June at the largest conference in the world on gender equality and the health, rights, and wellbeing of girls and women. Under the theme “Power. Progress. Change.” we will bring together more than 6,000 world leaders, government officials, leaders from the private sector, foundations, and civil society, celebrities, academics, advocates, activists, and journalists with the drive to accelerate progress for girls and women everywhere – including an unprecedented amount of young people.

Here are ten reasons why advocates worldwide cannot miss this opportunity.

This is a critical moment for gender equality and women’s health and rights.
Movements all over the world are accelerating progress for girls and women. With all eyes on Vancouver, and with hundreds of satellite events around the world, let us make this a moment to channel our collective power!

It is a networking opportunity like none other.
With more than 6,000 attendees from 2,500+ organizations, including representatives from the private sector, UN agencies, and government officials from more than 50 countries, there is no better place to expand your network than WD2019.

Attendees hear from the greatest minds, strongest advocates, and progressive leaders from across the globe.
The Women Deliver stage is not about dull presentations – it is about engaging in a dialogue that drives the agenda forward. Learn from a distinguished group of plenary speakers, including emerging voices from all over the world.

WD2019 is the place for storytelling, evidence, and impact.
From power talks to social enterprise pitches, digital posters to film festivals, booth exploration to mobile app demos, WD2019 is jam-packed with inspiration and learning opportunities.

Young people are front and center.
One in five participants at WD2019 will be a youth advocate from the award-winning Women Deliver Young Leaders Program and beyond. Youth voices and perspectives are not only included at WD2019, they are heard!

Courses to strengthen advocacy skills.
A brand new offering for WD2019, we are kicking off the Advocacy Academy – a skills-building series for conference participants to strengthen advocacy strategies and tactics through online courses, webinars, and in-person workshops.

Tailored experience will advance goals and discover new ideas.
When you join us onsite in Vancouver, take advantage of the conference’s breadth and depth of content. Customize a schedule that fits your interests, while also broadening your horizons. Get out of your comfort zone!

Leading campaigns and coalitions are looking to grow.
WD2019 will bring together a variety of campaign leaders who drive action for girls and women, including #MeToo, Deliver for Good, Equal Measures 2030, Global Goals, FP2020, the Global Partnership for Education, and more. Tap into powerful networks to maximize the impact of your advocacy.

It is a venue to challenge assumptions.
A magical thing happens when people from all walks of life come together to share their perspectives. We cannot wait to welcome advocates from more than 160 countries to determine how we can – together – create a more gender equal world.

It is the energy boost we need to keep advocating for girls and women.
WD2019 is more than a conference. It is a fueling station to accelerate action, policy change, and investment. Advocates will walk away from this experience with concrete actions to take and the drive to execute them. Every WD2019 participant is part of the solution and we need you there!
