The Women Deliver 2026 Conference (WD2026) is one of the largest and most inclusive convenings to advance gender equality globally. 

We invite individuals, organizations, movements, and collectives to submit applications for concurrent sessions that are bold, participatory, and drive action for gender equality. These sessions are a critical part of WD2026’s program and will offer space for cross-sectoral collaboration, knowledge sharing, and movement building.

Key Dates

  • Applications open: 1 September 2025 (5:00pm AEST / UTC +10)
  • Applications close: 5 November 2025 (11:59pm AEST / UTC +10)
  • Notification of outcomes: December 2025 

Eligibility

Open to individuals, organizations, coalitions and collectives based anywhere in the world, from any sector or focus area.

  • Applications can be submitted in English, French, or Spanish.
  • Each organization may submit up to three (3) session applications as lead organizer.
  • Applications should relate to the conference’s core issue areas (listed in the Concurrent Guide) but applicants do not need to work exclusively on gender issues.

Application Process

Before submitting your application, please prepare the following:

  • Session objectives: Clearly outline the goal(s) and intended outcome(s) of your session.
  • Session format: Indicate your session format (e.g. workshop, roundtable, storytelling session, etc.).
  • Speaker and facilitator details: Provide names, bios, and relevant expertise of all proposed speakers and facilitators, and involved in the session. Speakers do not need to be confirmed at the time of application, but please list any potential participants.
  • Collaboration and co-creation: If your session is being developed by multiple organizations, movements or individuals (highly encouraged), name all collaborators and aim to submit a single, joint applications.
  • Alignment with WD2026 themes: Explain how your session connects to the core themes of the conference:
    • Disrupt the now through critical reflection
    • Build the vision for the future 
    • Align for action by building alliances and designing strategies for collective action
    • Sustain the movement through intergenerational leadership, mutual accountability and supporting one another.
  • Submit your application through the online portal by the deadline. Incomplete or late applications may not be considered.

Review & Selection Process

All submitted applications will be carefully reviewed and evaluated based on their alignment with WD2026’s themes, their clear strategic objectives, participatory methods, inclusivity, and potential impact. They will be assessed by a diverse range of WD2026 advisors and thematic experts. We are committed to being led by lived experiences and ensuring the program remains inclusive, relevant, and reflective of the diverse voices and perspectives involved.

Organizer Benefits

If your session is accepted, two concurrent organizers (individuals) per session and up to five speakers per session may receive discounted registration at the price of $550 USD. This discount is non-transferable.
