Bio

Susan Eboisetale Abumere is originally from Nigeria and currently lives in the United Kingdom. She is working toward a PhD in Business and Management from Alliance Manchester Business School. Susan is a volunteer researcher at the Stand to End Rape Initiative.

What ignited your pursuit for gender equality?

The desire to see that women are not disadvantaged in the workplace and are able to excel in their chosen careers.

Please share your biggest wins as an advocate for gender equality.

Getting funding for a research project on multinational corporations and inclusive practices within different cultural contexts. I am also currently working on a project on Sexual Harassment in Nigerian workplaces with the STER research team.

Outside of your gender equality advocacy work, what do you enjoy doing?

Spending quality time with loved ones, watching favorite TV shows, and trying new recipes.
