Angel is an advocate for gender equity, social justice, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). She is the President of the African Youth and Adolescent Network East and Southern Africa (AfriYAN ESA), the Chief Executive Officer of Us for Girls Foundation, serves as the Vice President of AfriYAN Uganda, and is part of the Teenage Pregnancy Think Tank at the Ministry of Health Uganda. Angel also contributes to the Africa Youth Consultation for the Beijing +30 activities and serves on the Technical Advisory Group on SRHR and gender-based violence (GBV) at UNFPA ESARO. Her work is dedicated to empowering youth, particularly young women, and advancing SRHR initiatives and meaningful youth engagement. Angel applied for the Women Deliver Emerging Leaders Program to further develop her advocacy skills and expand her impact. Through the program, she aims to connect with other young leaders addressing youth SRHR challenges, access valuable resources, and develop new strategies for advancing SRHR and gender equality. Angel envisions using her platform to inspire, collaborate, and mentor other young advocates, bringing a new generation of leaders equipped to tackle the complex challenges facing their communities. In all her roles, Angel is driven by a commitment to ensuring that young people’s voices are at the forefront of global advocacy efforts and that they are not just participants but leaders in the fight for their rights and the creation of a better world.
