Andy is a dedicated intersex advocate championing sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and sex characteristics (SOGIESC), and intersex and LGBTQIA+ rights. As the founder and Executive Director of Q We Rise Network, Andy leads initiatives aimed at empowering intersex, transgender, gender non-conforming (GNC), and LGBTQIA+ individuals through a focus on art, advocacy, education, and economic empowerment. Andy’s work addresses critical issues, including access to education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods, with the goal of creating equitable opportunities for marginalized communities. His advocacy seeks to minimize barriers to bodily autonomy and promote inclusive healthcare systems that serve the needs of young girls, intersex, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. By driving policy reform and raising awareness, he is committed to building a future where everyone, regardless of their identity, can access their fundamental rights and thrive in safe and supportive environments. Andy applied for the Emerging Leaders Program to expand his knowledge of SRHR and ensure that everyone in his community, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or financial background, can access healthcare services without stigma and discrimination.
