Williot Lumbe, a Women Deliver Young Leader from Malawi, was awarded a $5,000 Women Deliver, made possible by Johnson & Johnson, seed grant to implement his project entitled “United Ideas.” The United Ideas Project aims to contribute towards the reduction of incidences of early marriages, early pregnancies and HIV among in and out of school adolescents in Ntcheu District. By uniting traditional leaders, teachers, young people, and the clergy into a collective advocacy effort, this project hopes to shift the understanding of SRHR at the community level across generations.
