For youth, by youth: building a more gender-equal world

Globally, young people are at the forefront of social change, leading the way toward a more gender-equal world. By speaking up, challenging norms, innovating, collaborating, and influencing decision-makers to take action, young advocates are driving visionary change in their communities, countries, and around the world. It’s time to follow their lead.

How Women Deliver is supporting young advocates

Young Leaders Program

Young people should not inherit systems they did not co-design. Their futures are directly impacted by the decisions made today, and we must support their right to create and lead on policies and programs that impact them the most. Women Deliver stands in solidarity with and supports these young advocates because young people have the expertise, vision, and lived experiences to lead gender equality movements, organizations, and activism. The Women Deliver Young Leaders Program equips passionate young advocates for gender equality with knowledge and skills and connects them to the platforms, people, and resources to amplify their influence on a larger scale.

“The Young Leaders Program is the reason for many firsts in my career as an advocate/activist. [It] provided me an avenue to improve how I advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights in the Philippines. It has helped keep my passion for SRHR burning.”
