Zeinab Cherri is passionate about conducting evidence-based research to support advocacy efforts of local and INGOs. Zeinab is currently based in Lebanon, where she is from originally. At Universidad de Oviedo and Universite Catholique de Louvain, she studied Public Health in Disasters on the Erasmus Mundus Joint Scholarship. As a Research Assistant at American University of Beirut, she is responsible for developing the research methods and analyzing qualitative data that will help decrease adolescent girls’ school dropout rate. As an advocate, Zeinab published a study on early marriage and barriers to contraception among Syrian refugee women in Lebanon.
