Isaac Ejakhegbe (Class of 2016) directly engaged more than 850 individuals (18 traditional birth attendants, 20 faith leaders, 450 young people, and 380 community members) to share information about the Violence Against Persons Prohibition Act of 2015 to help them better understand the content of the law against female genital mutilation (FGM). He also developed a health jingle on FGM in local languages and shared this message across the state government owned radio station, which reaches about 6.5 million people, ranging from Edo State, Nigeria, to other neighboring states including Delta State and Kogi State.
