Women Deliver Young Leader Unami Moatswi of Botswana attended the Young Women’s Consultation Forum and the 9th African Union Gender Pre-Summit on “Harnessing the Demographic Dividend Through Investments in the Youth: Empowering Young People, Especially Young Women, For Leadership and Civic Participation.” The event happened in conjunction with the 29th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. There, Unami and other participants discussed the demographic dividend and the unique needs and insights that young people have, in Africa and globally.
