Larz Gerrand, a Women Deliver Young Leader from Australia, is implementing a seed grant speakers series, “SPEAK: Speakers for Education, Advocacy, and Knowledge,” made possible by Johnson & Johnson. Larz and their team hosted their first event entitled “Contraception and Safe Abortion: Barriers to Access.” The event addressed common barriers to accessing contraception and safe abortion that individuals and communities face, and it mobilized marginalized young women to share their stories and demand their rights.
