John Kwasi Amuzu Makes Case for Adolescent Health Development in Ghana

share

Due to the government’s limited funding for the Ghana Health Service for Adolescent Health and Development, John Kwasi Amuzu (Class of 2018) joined the Ipas consortium to call on all stakeholders, including the Ghana Health Service, to jointly advocate for greater government funding for adolescent health development. They planned a meeting with the First Lady of Ghana to make a case for why there should be a larger budget allocated for sexual and reproductive health and rights, scheduled time to campaign and secure signatures across the country’s 10 administrative regions to support their case.
