During the first 4 months of 2018, World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts developed an activity called “Helen Storrow Pop-Up Seminar,” which took place in 18 countries. It combined joint sessions, parallel sessions, and small group sessions in real time and online. As the facilitator in Venezuela, Josmar Tello (Class of 2018) planned the programming, hosted in real-time, and helped to finalize the evaluation report. As a result of these sessions, six Venezuelan Girl Guides aged 15 had their very first international and leadership experience. Girls who attended the pop-up seminars had the opportunity the learn more about gender equality and its impact on the environment.
