Caren Odanga (Class of 2016) has been actively involved in the Family Planning 2020 commitment advocacy campaign at the national level, which aims to hold the government accountable for their FP2020 commitments, with particular focus on the implementation of the Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Policy. The government agreed to fast-track the implementation of the Adolescent Reproductive Health Policy which will see increased access to comprehensive SRHR information and services for adolescent and teenage women. Caren and her team will conduct follow-up advocacy meetings to ensure the realization of this commitment by the government.
