Bhawana Bhatta (Class of 2018) was appointed coordinator of the National Youth Council (NYC) Act Revision Task Force. In her new role, she worked with members of the task force to prepare and submit a draft of the NYC Act Amendment with contributions from student and youth wings of national parties. Specifically, she offered recommendations to clearly define youth, link youth institutions to government, civil society representatives, media, and experts. This draft was submitted to the Law Ministry on behalf of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
