Betty Barkha (Class of 2016) recently published an academic research paper on Natural Disasters and Threats for Women in Pacific Small Island States as a result of a fellowship hosted by Monash University. The fellowship led her to consider pursuing research opportunities, and now she will enroll in a PhD program to undertake research on climate resilience and its impact on gender, peace, and security.
