Anthony Lopez, a Women Deliver Young Leader from the Philippines, was a featured speaker during a plenary session entitled “Young Leaders: The Driving Force Behind Adolescent Health” at the Global Adolescent Health Conference. The session focused on how young people have been the leaders and changemakers in addressing adolescent health, transforming policies, programs, and communities for the better. In this interactive dialogue, Anthony and other youth advocates from across the globe explored each of the four conference pillars (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, Nutrition, Mental Health, and Data), and shared their experiences in moving the needle forward on adolescent health and wellbeing in their own communities.
