From storytelling to the hard facts, from Instagram to press-releases, Women Deliver’s communications strategies are aimed at reaching advocates and changemakers with actionable information and compelling messaging.
Creating user-friendly, fact-filled advocacy tools
Women Deliver is known for compelling and positive communications. Our infographics on girls and women have been a favorite tool for many years, translated into multiple languages, and used for advocacy and education across the globe – including by the negotiators of the Sustainable Development Goals. Women Deliver’s new set of infographics are focused on providing the most salient evidence for investing in girls and women and will guide individuals and organizations to advocate for prioritizing girls and women in the implementation of the SDGs.
Optimizing the reach of digital communications:
Digital tools – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, website and virtual conferences– extend the reach of Women Deliver and encourage conversation and dialogue to stretch across the globe. In 2016 Women Deliver graduated from simple live-streaming of plenaries to a robust virtual “Women Deliver Live” conference with its own supplementary program for digital attendees. We also offer webinars, podcasts, and digital storytelling opportunities for our Young Leaders.
Making the media an ally:
Women Deliver works with media from around the world, providing scholarships to global conferences and offering media training on key topics. We team up with media partners to bring information to new and diverse audiences.
