Kinza Hasan

Manager, Policy and Advocacy

Kinza Hasan (she/her) serves as Manager, Policy and Advocacy at Women Deliver.

Kinza is a passionate advocate for gender equality, women’s empowerment, and peacebuilding education in the Islamic world. She has nearly a decade of experience working in international development with both multilateral institutions and the private sector. Prior to Women Deliver, Kinza worked for Pfizer’s Health Economics and Outcomes Research team, providing a policy lens to their research on global anti-microbial resistance. Kinza also supported UNDP’s Bureau for External Relations and Advocacy, working to strengthen UNDP’s bilateral partnerships with the UK and Nordic donors.

Kinza’s research areas have included gender and health and girls’ education. She supported UNICEF’s Gender and Rights section to analyze gender gaps in country programming, conduct research analyses, and prepare for high-level events. Kinza worked with UNDP’s HIV, Health and Development section’s Mainstreaming Gender Cluster, drafting communications products and providing research support on gender-based violence, gender and HIV, women and malaria, and sex workers’ rights.

She received her Master of Public Administration degree from NYU Wagner focusing on international policy and management. Kinza is currently pursuing her Master’s in Education, International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Kinza enjoys trying out new recipes from around the world, attempting to read children’s books in Urdu, and drinking lots of coffee and tea!
