What ignited your pursuit for gender equality?

Gender inequalities persist in all areas of social and economic life across the globe. Since inequalities are created by unequal power dynamics, sustainable development relies on unending discrimination toward women and proving equal opportunities. Gender equality has been shown to stimulate economic growth for the development of a country.

Please share your biggest wins as an advocate for gender equality.

I collaborated with two creative and like-minded volunteers to raise the aspirations of girls through a career talk session, as well as organizing workshops for young people as a team of twenty. The career talk session and workshop turned out to be remarkable and productive due to the large turnout of young people and the support given to them.

Outside of your gender equality advocacy work, what do you enjoy doing?

Singing and songwriting.
