What ignited your pursuit for gender equality?

Sexism and violence against women put me in active resistance against patriarchy since I was a teenager and turned me into a women’s human rights advocate over time.

Please share your biggest wins as an advocate for gender equality.

I advocated for the integration of gender education in the high school curriculum in Armenia and presented it on the Human Rights Council 35 side panel as a good practice recognized by the UN Working Group on Discrimination Against Women and Girls.

Outside of your gender equality advocacy work, what do you enjoy doing?

I enjoy dancing, learning new things, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
