What ignited your pursuit for gender equality?

I'm a proud survivor of sexual and gender-based violence. I survived, but others didn't and probably may not. Because of this, I've vowed to educate and fight for the rights of girls and women in every way possible.

Please share your biggest wins as an advocate for gender equality.

I engaged in several community dialogues educating girls, women, boys, and men on the concept of gender equalities, importance of promoting respectful relationship and equitable communities, gender role and norms in daily life, power status and GBV, faith and SGBV, and working towards a world free of violence together. My commitment and interest in this cause has helped educate many about their rights.

Outside of your gender equality advocacy work, what do you enjoy doing?

Going to the movies, singing, writing, and making new friends.
