What ignited your pursuit for gender equality?
Since I was little, I knew that something was wrong. A girl's life could not be based on a stereotype. I am a survivor and my fight is prevention and the path to recovery. I am convinced that any survior of gender-based violence who is treated with respect and dignity can succeed.
Please share your biggest wins as an advocate for gender equality.
I work with women survivors of the armed conflict. Providing information and accompanying families so that they can develop in the country is my greatest achievement. Contributing to children's right to education, access to decent housing, and immigration regularization are successful efforts. The mere fact of listening to survivorsof sexual violence to me is the achievement because the road to recovery begins here.
Outside of your gender equality advocacy work, what do you enjoy doing?
I love to read, dance, and eat.
