YouthConnect App Serves as Important Resource for Youth in Latin America and the Caribbean for Health Services and Comprehensive Sexuality Education

As a member of the Youth Advisory Group of Trinidad and Tobago’s UNFPA, Khadijah Pierre (Class of 2018) participates on the steering committee of its YouthConnect app, which will be used not only to provide information about differing healthcare service providers both public and private, but also as a tool disseminate comprehensive sexuality education to young people on a wider scale without the barriers of the schools reservations. She will also be one of the peer educators who will provide advice to young people through the chat feature on the app.
