Vivian Onano, a Women Deliver Young Leader from Kenya and WaterAid’s Global Youth Ambassador, spoke at a high-level panel discussion at the United Nations General Assembly. The session took place at UN Headquarters in New York and focused on on the power of partnering for women, children, and adolescents, to thrive and transform the world. Vivian spoke about the importance of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) on girls’ access to education and overall wellbeing, and why these issues are critical to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
