Sri Lankan Environmentalist Leads Youth Groups in Plastic Beach Clean-Up

Anoka Abeyrathne (Class of 2018) delivered a speech to youth groups in Colombo district on plastic pollution and women and youth’s vulnerability to plastic pollution. Following this speech, she and young people set out to clean beaches, collecting more than 7000 kilograms of plastic waste and sending them to recycling centers.
