Maria Camila Zapata Cardozo (Class of 2018) created the Sex Interest project in October 2017 when she began her term as National Officer on SRH including HIV/AIDS of the La Asociación de Sociedades Científicas de Estudiantes de Medicina de Colombia (ASCEMCOL). Her project was designed to relate international commemorative days with topics related to sexual and reproductive health and create infographics to be shared on ASCEMCOL’s social media platforms, targeting medical students and future health care providers so they can spread that knowledge to their peers. The project launches a weekly infographic on a Colombian holiday on topics such as child abuse and sexual and reproductive health and rights.
