Through her seed grant project, Olaoluwa Abagun received the first ever commitment of the Local Government towards combating sexual violence in Alimosho Community

Olaoluwa Abagun, a Women Deliver Young Leader from Nigeria, is implementing a seed grant project, made possible by Johnson & Johnson, to movilize adolescents and young women to end sexual harassment and assault. Olaoluwa met with the Sole Administrator (Chairman) of Alimosho Local Government Honorable Gani Olatunji Quadri and signed a memorandum of understanding with Girl Pride Circle, the organization she co-founded, undertaking to support the project as a Community Partner. Among other things, he undertook to draft the foreword of the proposed Community Action Plan in November 2016. This is the first ever commitment of the Local Government towards combating sexual violence in Alimosho Community.
