Richard Dzikunu, a Women Deliver Young Leader from Ghana, participated in this high-level Summit with other African leaders. He shared input on strategies designed to shape new commitments towards removing legal barriers to safe abortion in Africa. As a result of this Summit, a declaration on safe and legal abortion was presented to the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR), which is currently implementing the Campaign for the Decriminalization of Abortion in Africa.
