Caren Odanga spoke on a panel with key partners of PAI’s Quest Iniative

Caren Odanga, a Women Deliver Young Leader and 2016 seed grant recipient, was invited to participate in a technical panel with key partners of PAI’s Quest initiative to discuss quality, rights and youth sexual and reproductive health in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Myanmar. The conversation, moderated by Cosmopolitan.com editor Hayley MacMillen, brought together together policy experts and key partners of PAI’s QUEST initiative, including PAI’s President and CEO Suzanne Ehlers, Cate Lane of USAID Bureau of Global Health, Rika Morioka, Assistant Director of Myanmar Partners in Policy and Research, Dr. Meshesha Shewarega, the Executive Director of the Consortium of Christian Relief and Development Associations, Ethiopia, and Caren. She spoke about her seed grant project, Building Momentum for Increased Access to Safe Abortion in Kakamega County, Kenya, and the work that she’s doing to train and mobilize young women as peer educators on safe abortion.
