Nice Leng’ete (Class of 2018) joined the esteemed panel, “Success Factors in Ending FGM/C” where she shared her experiences pushing for change at the cultural level and the development of her Alternative Rights of Passage. She also spoke about the disconnect between national laws and local practice, urging for this gap to be filled. Lastly, she stressed the importance of engaging with boys and men to ensure long-term cultural change.
