As a Youth Director, Kobe Smith (Class of 2018) is a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation/Western Hemisphere Region (IPPF/WHR), where he represents the interests of more than 100 million young people in the Latin America and Caribbean region, as it relates to youth issues surrounding sexual and reproductive health and rights. Kobe was selected to serve as a member of the Policy and Advocacy Committee of the IPPF/WHR to bring youth perspectives, ideas, and experiences to influence the advocacy strategy of the organization.
