Arash Bordbar (Class of 2018) of Iran became chair of the UNHCR Global Youth Advisory Council (GYAC). In December 2017, the GYAC attended the High Commissioner’s Dialogue on Protection Challenges and published a paper on the Programme of Action for the Global Compact on Refugees with recommendations on improving humanitarian work in regions around the world.
