Desmond Atanga spoke at an event co-hosted by Women Deliver and the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (PMNCH) called “Advocating For Change for Adolescents: A Youth-Led Side Event on Advocacy for Adolescent Health and Wellbeing” at the United Nations General Assembly.The event celebrated the launch of a co-authored toolkit developed by young people, for young people, that provides guidance to youth networks on the design, implementation, and monitoring of an effective national advocacy action roadmap on adolescent health and wellbeing. It aims to encourage meaningful engagement of youth and drive positive advocacy and accountability efforts to influence national health plans and policy processes.
