Nefertiti Martin (Class of 2018) represented Community United Against Violence (CUAV) at a press conference at San Francisco City Hall in support of Supervisor Hilary Ronen’s proposed legislation to hold city departments accountable for cases of sexual assault and harassment. The proposed legislation would create the Office of Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP), which would be part of the Human Rights Commission. A board committee will hear Ronen’s proposed legislation in June.
