Women Deliver Young Leaders Unami Moatswi and Catherine Nyambura participated in a special Youth Consultation Forum held in conjunction with the 29th Gender is my Agenda Campaign (GIMAC) Pre-Consultative Meeting in the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Along with other participants, Unami and Catherine received training on advocacy with governments during GIMAC and the AU. They were also able to share challenges and best practices of their advocacy work. Alongside fellow participants, they drafted key advocacy messages for the AU Summit and ultimately developed an action plan to meaningfully include the voices of young women and girls in GIMAC and the African Union.
