Betty Barkha Discusses Clean Cooking Solutions to Empower Rural Women during CSW – Women Deliver

Betty Barkha (Class of 2016) joined a panel to discuss time poverty and clean cooking as a means of achieving gender equality. Betty provided perspective on traditional practices in terms of cooking and collecting resources from water to fuel and how gender norms play a role in these practices in Fiji. She also spoke on the importance of engaging young people in conversation and efforts around like clean energy/cooking.
