Anthony Lopez received a $5,000 seed grant from Women Deliver — made possible by Johnson & Johnson — to implement Capiz Youth for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, or Y-Cap. This project trained young people to serve as champions of sexual and reproductive health and rights, and created a core team that will increase awareness of young key affected populations regarding sexual and reproductive health and rights. Through his project, Anthony conducted meetings with over a dozen government officials and key stakeholders to discuss youth sexual and reproductive health and rights, and developed new partnerships with four relevant local government agencies to continue to address these issues.
