Ala Oueslati (Class of 2016) attended the International Peace Institute in April 2018 and spoke at a panel titled, “People, Power, and Sustaining Peace: The Role of Grassroots Nonviolent Movements in Building a Just Peace”. He shared stories of Tunisian women driving gender equality reforms as a means of sustaining peace.
