Aditi was awarded a $5,000 Women Deliver seed grant, made possible by Johnson & Johnson, to implement her project entitled “Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Traning Program.” Menstrual hygiene management remains a major health and social issue in Nepal. This Mentrual Hygiene Awareness Training Project aims to promote menstrual health and hygiene in Nepalese communities to empower girls and women by raising awareness among girls and women, as well as men, regarding menstrual hygiene. The project also strives to provide solutions to manage menstruation hygienically based on local and available resources, including how to properly use hygienic sanitary products.
