This forum in Tbilisi, Georgia focuses on SDG16+ implementation and highlights strategies, partnerships, policies, and programming in Georgia and other 16+ forum contexts. The Showcase opened an opportunity to take a closer look at the process and results behind Georgia’s anti-corruption and good governance initiatives, particularly through the framework of the Open Government Partnership (OGP), of which it is now Chair, as well as its efforts to build “Peaceful Societies” through the country’s peace and confidence-building efforts. As a Youth Accountability Advocate with Restless Development, Richard spoke in a panel and presented research. His speaking role focused on successes, challenges and best practices in pursuing inclusive, participatory democracy and a strengthened social contract.
